Missions
Missions is the way that followers of Jesus and the local church share the good news about Jesus with people in their area of influence and help them become mature followers of Jesus. It is also the way to help other believers around the world share the good news about Jesus with people in their sphere of influence.
Our missions activities and the study of missions around the world is coordinated by our Adults On Mission group. We conduct a worship celebration for the Summit Nursing Home residents each Monday morning at 10:30 am. We conduct mission activities throughout the year to share about Jesus with people in our community.
We periodically partner with other churches in the Kansas City area and with the Blue River - Kansas City Baptist Association to do mission activities in the metropolitan area. We partner with the Missouri Baptist Convention to help mission work in Missouri. We partner with the North American Mission Board and the International Mission Board of the Southern Baptist Convention to help mission work in North America and around the world.
