Roanoke Baptist is a 100 year old church in the mid-town of Kansas City near the area known as Westport where wagons departed for the Old West in the late 1800s. We are located just three blocks east of the KU Medical Center. Although we are in a big city, we maintain a friendly, hometown atmosphere.
The dress at Roanoke may be casual and our meetings joyous, but our messages are biblical, encouraging, and helpful for living daily in a right relationship with the Creator of the physical and spiritual universe.
We invite you to join us for a celebration service any Sunday morning at 9:30 a.m. On Easter Sunday, April 4, we'll celebrate that Jesus is Risen.
New Ministry
We are starting a children's clothes closet called Wyoming Wear to provide help for students at Gordon Parks Elementary School throughout the school year.
You can help by donating slightly used children's clothes and shoes. Any financial donations will be used to purchase clothes and shoes.
